Mesa/Boogie Amplifiers

Mesa/Boogie is my favorite brand of amplifier, below are pictures of a few models.  Some of these are mine, and others used to be.

MKIIB

60w, Reverb, no-EQ, no-Simul-Class, 12" 150w Electro-Voice speaker.  More amp than than most would ever need.

Subway Rocket

20w, no-Reverb, 10" 90-watt Celestion-Designed Black Shadow.  Useful bugger, awesome bedroom amp.

Open-Back 1x12 Cabinet

12" 90w Celestion-designed Black Shadow speaker.  I use dit with the Subway Rocket most of the time.

S.O.B.

60w, no reverb, limit control.  My first boogie.  Think Santana meets Metallica, tonally.

Nomad 55 Head.  55 watts, 3 Channels, 2 voices per channel, Reverb, solo function.  Pretty versatile, yet a totally different beast than the others pictured.

Single Rectifier Solo 50 Head with Matching Recto 2x12.  50w, 2 channels, 2 voices per channel, solo function no other bells and whistles.  But this amp doesn't NEED them.

Quad preamp.  This is basically the preamp sections of a MK IIC+ and a MK III.  The MK IIC+ was used alot by Metallica during their "Ride the Lightning" era stuff, add a nice Parametric EQ to kick up the lower mids and a tube power amp and you can NAIL the metallica tone.
